magazine cover: Glamour. As can be
easily guessed from the title of the post, the heroine today is Emma Watson.
It can be said that Emma
Watson really defines "girl crush" for us, these days. If anyone ever
doubted her ability to stretch herself beyond the role of Hermione, they're
eating their words — this girl is quickly turning into a megastar, showcasing
serious talent and boasting status as a beauty and a style icon. The next step
in her evolution? Posing for Glamour's October cover in a sultry
shoulder-baring dress.
Emma talks about her role in the upcoming film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, in the inside portfolio. If you've read the book, you're probably already psyched. For those of you who haven't, we won't give anything away, but let's just say we're marking the midnight showing on our calendars already.
And of course, she's staying grounded as ever. On her newfound adult fame, she says ""I was always the smart, nerdy one. People put you in boxes, and that was my box. So it's really nice [the compliments], but looks have never been something that I focused on or that people around me did. But I liked being the nerdy one." Way to be, Emma!
